Neil J. A. Sloane's research interests include sphere-packing, error-correcting codes, combinatorics, algebra, number theory, geometry, design of experiments. He also maintains the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences. Dr. Sloane is an AT&T Fellow, an IEEE Fellow and a Member of the National Academy of Engineering. He was also awarded the 2005 IEEE Hamming Medal. His home page can be found here.
