Manoop Talasila joined AT&T Labs as Principal-Inventive Scientist after finishing his Ph.D. in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ in 2015. His dissertation is on Location Reliability and Gamification Mechanisms for Mobile Crowd Sensing. While pursuing his PhD, he also worked as a senior Java Architect at various reputed companies to build and support web applications in insurance, hotel and pharma domains since 2006. He received his Masters in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY in 2006. 

He also hold an Adjunct Professor position in New Jersey Institute of Technology. His personal research interests are focused on Mobile Crowd Sensing, Location Reliability, and Gamification Mechanisms. He is always open to collaborate on interesting research even outside his area of interest.
