Researcher Aids in Massive Madagascar Conservation Initiative
Labs researcher Steven Phillips collaborated with Wildlife Conservation Society scientists in a Madagascar conservation study. As a scientist interested in machine learning, Steven developed software for modeling species distributions. The team used this software to learn to recognize environment conditions that are suitable for a specific species. The software also helped design resilient networks of protected areas. Multimodal Voice Search for IPTV
The Voice-Activated Remote combines the latest WATSON voice recognition and natural language understanding technologies with advanced voice search capability to provide a powerful tool for finding both TV content and movies on demand.
