	att_abstract={{This column discusses the challenges involved in safe, secure, and large scale
drone operations. It also describes the Geocast Air Operations Framework (GAOF)
that is under study in AT&T Labs Research that takes first steps in
addressing these challenges. The GAOF solution is based on a combination
of communications protocols and onboard software that operates over a
geographically addressed multi-tier internetwork to allow airspace awareness,
non-line-of-sight control, augmentative control, and collision avoidance.
