Wine List for Auction to Benefit the Rif Hutchings Endowment

Wine List for Auction to Benefit the Rif Hutchings Endowment

What: Combination silent and live wine auction.

Where: Galileo Hall, Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, California.

When: Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 immediately following our showing of the two final matches of the Jeopardy! College Tournament.

Why: To obtain some fine wine, possibly at a bargain price, and benefit the Rif Hutchings Endowed Scholarship and Prize Fund at the same time.

Come watch Rif Hutchings '98 battle Alex Weathers of MIT and Shane Underwood of Alabama in the Jeopardy! College Tournament's two-day final match. The HMC community will gather in Galileo Hall to watch Jeopardy! on three big screens at 7:00 p.m. After the show, Patri Forwalter-Friedman '98 and Brian Maul '00 will serve as auctioners for some fine wines that have been donated to support the Rif Hutchings Endowed Scholarship and Prize Fund.

If you can't make it to the auction in person, you are welcome to submit a silent bid via e-mail to aarcher@hmc.edu. One third of the wines will be auctioned on Thursday, and the rest will go on Friday.

Remember, you must be at least 21 years old to purchase wine.

If you have any questions, please contact Aaron Archer via e-mail at aarcher@hmc.edu.
