In March of 1999, the Math Boyz, led by wordsmith and Head Optimizer A-Dogg, burst onto the mathematical rap scene with their phat jam "Ramanujan's Revenge."  The Boyz bowled over the rappamatical world by covering an existing Satz crafted originally by HCSSiM'ers Rob Hochberg and Tom Hull , updating the lyrics to take advantage of modern notation and advances in the literature, while adding a wicked sexy baseline and some phresh vocal percussion.  This approach contrasts with that taken by their illustrious non-mathematical predecessors MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice, whose first hits consisted of original lyrics thrown down atop already proven musical tracks by Rick James and a collaboration of David Bowie and Queen.  Commenting on their variation of this time-tested strategy, A-Dogg gave mad props to his mentors, proclaiming, "My rhymes is so fly 'cuz I chill on the shoulders of these dope disc-slingin', paper creasin' giants. Word up, H'n'H. We outta' here.  Peace."
