Jia Wang Principal Member of Technical Staff-Research Network Measurement and Engineering Research Department Internet and Networking Systems Research Center AT&T Labs, Inc. - Research

Jia joined AT&T Labs, Inc. - Research in February 2001. Her research focuses on Internet routing, network measurement and management, and network security. She received her MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University in May 1999 and January 2001, respectively. She is currently a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM.

ACM SIGMETRICS 2008 Student Job Fair, Annapolis, MD, June 2, 2008: Call for Participation

ACM SIGMETRICS 2008 invites industrial labs and students to participate in the job fair. The job fair will start with short presentations given by participating industrial labs on their general research area and recruiting process (both regular positions and summer intern opportunities). Students are also encouraged to follow up with the representative in each lab to obtain further information.

ACM SIGMETRICS 2008 Student Thesis Panel, Annapolis, MD, June 3, 2008: Call for Submission

ACM SIGMETRICS 2008 invites students to submit an extended abstract on their work-in progress thesis research to the student thesis panel. Student authors of accepted submissions will be present as panelists at ACM SIGMETRICS 2008. A limited number of travel grants will be given to the student panelists and an award (and a prize) will be given to the best student panelist.
