EXAMPLE

2^3^4^5 = 2^3^1024. But 3 == -1 mod 4, so 3^1024 == 1 mod 4, so 2^3^1024 == 2^1 mod 5 (since 2^4 == 1 mod 5) == 2 = a(5).
