COMMENT

The 25 known different hydrocarbon molecules with 4 carbon atoms are: 11 linear: (butane, 1-butene, cis-2-butene, trans-2-butene, 1-butyne, dimethylacetylene, 1,2-butadiene, 1,3-butadiene, vinylacetylene, diacetylene, cumulene). 2 branched: (isobutane, isobutylene). 5 three-atom-ring naphtenes: (methylcyclopropane, methylenecyclopropane, 1-methyl-cyclopropene, 2-methylcyclopropene, methylenecyclopropene). 4 four-atom-ring naphtenes (cyclobutane, cyclobutene, cyclobutadiene, cyclobutyne). 1 geodesical (tertahedrane).
