bma.glm.S contains two functions, "bma.glm" and "makepolys" These functions are for implementing Bayesian Model Averaging as described in "The Use of Bayesian Model Averaging to better represent uncertainty in ecological models." by Wintle, McCarthy, Volinsky, and Kavanagh. bma.glm is a revised version of bic.glm which is able to assess models using other criteria, including AIC and RIC. makepolys is a function written by Brendan Wintle to create an orthogonal group of quadratic variables for the purpose of passing to bma.glm. Running makepolys creates a matrix called "xpoly" to be passed to the bma.glm function - along with a positive value of the variable 'nquad'. Chris Volinsky February 2003
