AT&T’s software-defined network will deliver seamless streaming videos, high-definition games, photo intensive social media, and one day, help make autonomous cars a reality.
ECOMP & ONAP
ECOMP is driving our software-centric network transformation. It represents 8.5 million lines of code and currently supports over 100 different virtual network functions at all layers of our network. It’s a major part of ONAP, a new software-defined network architected to unite global carriers and vendors under one common platform with the goal of allowing end users to automate, design, orchestrate and manage services and virtual functions. It aims to create and foster a dynamic community. For more information visit the Linux Foundation.
